History
- The Cinema Materials Company has been established in Hanoi under the Decision no. 92/VHTT- QD dated 20th July 1979 by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
- The Cinema Materials Company was renamed to The Video - Cinema Materials Import & Export Company, and VINEMATIM was used as an official brand name in business transactions.
- On 10th December 2002: Cinema – Broadcast Equipment Import & Export Company was established by merging the Cinema - Video Materials and Technical Services Import & Export Company and the Cinema - Video Materials Import & Export Company. The brand name VINEMATIM still remained.
- On 23rd October 2006, The Cinema - Broadcast Equipment Import Export Company renamed to Cinema Broadcast Joint Stock Company (VINEMATIM).
- On January 2011: Cinema Broadcast Joint Stock Company officially named the brand as CBC.
